A Slow Burn - Chapter Four

I was finally struck with inspiration again for chapter four of A Slow Burn and I would love everyone to read it and review. I hope everyone likes it. Things are starting to get a bit complicated for Rob and Lauren and they will be even more so in the next chapters to come. Below are pictures of Adam Vandermark, Lauren's father, and Dean Warren. I also posted another picture of Mike Moseley and Nanako Moseley, Rob's brother and sister-in-law, since they have their own scene in this chapter. Please read, review and most of all, please enjoy.

Lovin this story!

How the hell do you do it?

The character development is fantastic and i'm enjoying that now challenges are coming up to test the relationship.

Can't wait for more!

I cannot wait to read more. I want to see how Rob is going to react with Lauren coversation and how her parents feel about not wanting Dean. I cannot wait to read more. I don't know how you do it Kate but I am hooked line and reading.

Really like this story.

I can't wait to see if Lauren actually brings up a "relationship" with Rob the next time she sees him. How is he going to react to that? What is the conversation between Rob and Mike going to sound like? I have so many questions in my head that I can't wait to have answered.

You have outdone yourself with this story. It stands out from your other stories as something new and different. I'm completely hooked and can't wait for more.

Hey Kate!!

This seems to be one of those relationships where both are thinking the same things... I wish we could be a "real" couple... but neither are sure what the other would think about that so they say nothing. I worry about them because I can see the writing on the wall so to speak if they both continue to clam up about their feelings. Jealousy and misunderstanding will abound.

I didn't think I would like these two but I do and I hope that somewhere beyond all the drama is a happy future for the two of them. In the meantime I am looking forward to where you'll be taking us in the next chapters.

Have a great weekend!! Really looking forward to the next chapter of the Nicest Thing also - you left us at quite the cliff-hanger! ;-) Take care.
