New Story Ideas

I am completely blown away by the warm reception The Prize has been getting. Honestly. Thank you so much to everyone who reads and an even bigger thanks to those who review. I get so happy every time I go onto AFF and see all of the reviews each new chapter gets. I am working on writing Chapter Eight at the moment but with the holiday weekend and family coming to visit, I'm not sure when I will get around to finish it. Hopefully, it will be up within the week. I promise that I will work on it whenever I have a spare moment.

Before anyone asks, The Prettiest Thing has reached a road block and I can't seem to write the second chapter. I'm sorry for everyone who wanted this story to continue. Hopefully, one day, my muse will return in regards to that story.

I am always thinking of my next story and right now, there are three ideas swimming around in my head. I'm actually going to let you pick which story I write next so just leave me a comment and let me know which one interests you the most. I love all of these ideas so I will have no problem writing whichever one wins.

Wonderwall [rewrite]: I was recently reading my earlier stories and I am not at all pleased with them. Wonderwall was my first attempt at writing a romance story and it wasn't a very good attempt. Jesse Stuart said, "Write something to suit yourself and many people will like it; write something to suit everybody and scarcely anyone will care for it." I am not happy with the story so I am going to be working on a rewrite. The main story points will remain but Justin and Poppy's story is in desperate need of a makeover. [ps - I also changed the actor of Justin. I think this one fits the description of the character a hundred times better.]

Justin

Poppy

Happenstance: There is a point when things stop being a coincidence and start being fate. Chris Wright is not having a good day. And it only seems to get worse when the elevator he's in decides to stop, keeping him confined in a small space for a few hours with a stranger. The stranger is Libby Jameson, a hair stylist who lives in the same apartment building, and in that time, the two will form a bond that may, or may not, survive once the elevator starts working again.

Chris

Libby

The State I Am In: Ava Parker has no experience but she convinces Mike Martin that she will work hard for him if he just gives her a chance. Mike doesn't want to hire her but the young rising excecutive for a music company needs an assistant and he respects her determination. The two don't exactly see eye to eye but they maintain a professional relationship. They do that is until one night when to make her ex-boyfriend jealous, Ava kisses Mike. And Mike realizes that he wouldn't mind if she kisses him again.

More Tyson and Amy

I was asked if it was possible to post more pictures of Tyson Reed and Amy Dunn from The Prize so here are two more photographs I found of them. The actor is Henry Cavill and the actress is Hanna Hall. I am working on the sixth chapter and I hope to have that posted as soon as possible.

Strange Conditions

I just posted a new story on AFF.net and Fictionpress.com called Strange Conditions and it is a series of one-shots featuring Grace Sawyer and Devon Hensley, following their growing relationship since Seven Minutes in Heaven. I was listening to a Pete Yorn cd earlier this morning and one of his songs "Strange Condition" came on as I was finishing writing the first chapter and I thought that it would be a good title for their story. I hope everyone enjoys it. I really do love writing Grace and Devon.

I am working on the sixth chapter for The Prize so hopefully, that will be up as soon as it can be. I really am trying to work as hard as I can and I must thank everyone for being as patient as they can be with me. You guys are the best!

Chapter 5 Update

Thank you so much for being patient with me. I finally was able to update a chapter for The Prize and the story of Tyson and Amy continues. Thank you for the support and reviews. It really does help me continue to write, knowing that I have so many readers and fans out there that enjoy my stories like you all do.

I am also working on another one-shot featuring Grace Sawyer and Devon Hensley from Seven Minutes in Heaven since I had many requests for that and I am thinking that I might write a story featuring a collection of their one-shots. I am enjoying writing about all of my current couples. They make me smile. And I'm just so grateful that I can write and post my stories and that there are people out there who want to read them.

Finally An Update!

After a long week, I was finally able to find time to write and I updated The Prize with chapter four. I hope everyone enjoys it. I am sorry for the delay but life has a way of sneaking up on you when you least expect it, or even want it to. Thank you for all of the reads and reviews for this story. I still can't believe that there are so many people loving this story. I'm so happy though.

I toyed around with an idea earlier this week of perhaps writing more one-shots featuring Grace Sawyer and Devon Hensley, the couple from Seven Minutes in Heaven and I decided that I really like that idea. I actually started working on the second one-shot earlier so maybe, if enough people are interested, and when I finish it, I can perhaps post it.

Seven Minutes in Heaven

I just posted a short oneshot story of complete fluff called Seven Minutes in Heaven. I had taken the babies to the playground today and I don't even know where the idea for the story came from but when I came home, I just sat down and wrote it. I hope everyone enjoys it. It's just something silly but I loved writing it. It made me smile. I was actually thinking of using Devon Hensley and Grace Sawyer for a series of oneshots but I haven't thought too much more about it. I hope to have an updated chapter for The Prize either tomorrow or Saturday. Thanks to everyone for reading my stuff and reviewing. You know how much I love all of you for encouraging me in my writing. I write all of these stories for you.

Chapter Three

I just posted the third chapter for The Prize and I still am amazed at all of the reviews I have been getting for this story. Thank you so much for everyone showing an interest in Tyson and Amy. I am enjoying writing this and I am having so many ideas for this story and I hope everything I want to put into this story makes the cut. I am sorry that I haven't had daily updates like you've all gotten used to over the past few weeks but Thomas just discovered the joys of walking and he has been keeping my hands full. Delia is trying to mimic her brother now too so my eyes must be on them at all times. I will try to update as quickly as I can but I will take my time in writing quality chapters for all of you. I also posted a picture below of the dress Amy wears in chapter three in case anyone was curious as to see what it looks like.
