The Nicest Thing - Chapter Three

Chapter three of The Nicest Thing is now posted so please read and review it for me. Let me know what you think. After a couple introductory chapters, I am finally getting into the story and I hope everyone enjoys this chapter. Also, can someone please make me a piece of fanart for this story? I would be eternally grateful. Thank you!

Just finished reading, and it's good to see that Corey and Kyle finally have some interaction. I am really liking Kyle in this story. I still haven't made up my mind about Corey.

I'm glad we got to see a little of Trevor's family in this chapter. Any updates on the Scott and Dawson clan is good. Hopefully we'll get some of Ella's insight into the Corey/Kyle situation in upcoming chapters.

Great chapter, look forward to your next update.

I love how both of them changed over the years and you showing the maturity they become. Great job, I wonder how Ash will fit into the story. Oh and I love Millie she is soo cute! I cannot wait to read the next chapter. I hope that there is a girl out there for Monty, I like him in this story so far.

FANTASTIC CHAPTER!

Can't wait for more i really like the character development and how everyone has matured over the last 5-6years!

How do you do it?

Awesome, I love the story. Corey kinda pissed me off in this chapter. She seemed to be the most immature person in the chapter. Even more so than Milliue. You can't told the past against a person forever somone. I LOVE THE WAY YOU MAKE ME WANT TO SCREAM AT THE CHARACTERS SOMETIMES. I'm happy we got some Kyle/Corey interaction, and as Jen said. I too like Kyle in this story.

Keep up the good work.

Hurrah for Corey and Kyle meeting!

I loved this chapter and I am glad to see how much Kyle has matured and changed since high school. The problem might be that Corey doesn't seem all the different yet, it's like she froze in time and never really moved on. I hope she dosen't hook up with Ash just to spite Kyle and get back at him for what he did to her all those years ago... I can't see her doing that but I really hope she won't. And it was so sad that she couldn't really just come out and say that she didn't still hate Kyle, I felt so bad for him and for her in that scene. She seems so confused and so I am very glad that Kyle didn't take advantage of her - it was the right decision to wait and I hope Corey appreciates it.

On a happier note I am glad that she got her job which I can relate to being very exciting. Also, it was great to see Trevor, Joy, and little Millie in this one - they are so wonderful as a little family and I am glad to see that everything is going well for them!

Thanks so much for the update! I am loving this story and can't wait to read what happens next!

I love the update with Trevor, Joy and Millie. They do seem like such a loving family. I love the way Trevor mixed training with playing with his daughter, how adorable. The no cursing around the baby, but violence, was classic, parent do that type of stuff all the time. So realistic. I love that they were allowed to follow their dreams and still be happy.

I have to day I was a little disappointed that Bret opened a branch of his dad's lawn service in Chicago. It just seems so boring, and I don't know average. He graduated from Penn right? Even his dad didn't want him to continue in his footstep so I was just disappointed to see that. Hopefully he is taking it to the next level and is a landscape engineer, or I don't know. (Sorry for anyone reading this who does landscaping or who's spouse is a landscaper)

I feel like I know these characters and I just want the best for them. That's a testimony to your skills.

Hey Kate I just thought of something. The characters are 22right and Joy had Millie at 18? If she was 6, wouldn't that make Joy and Trevor 24? and Corey and Ella 23?
