Boo to That

I have decided to and already have taken down most of my multi-chaptered stories from Fictionpress.com. The stories there were never really liked and they always got lost in all of the other dozens of stories posted there every day. From now on, I am going to most my longer length stories on AFF.net since almost all of my readers know me from that site and they are loyal to me.

Fictionpress astounds me. I have read some horrible garbage on that site and someone tells me that The Prize has a horrible plotline. After the two chapters that were posted, that person must have been a mind-reader to know what was going to happen in order to judge the plotline. The Prize is definitely one of my most popular stories with More Than Anyone, I think, being the most favorite among readers. So how can 226 reviews on AFF.net be wrong? If The Prize really sucked, I hope someone would have told me by now. *shakes head*

Anyway, I am having fun writing the newest chapter for The Prize. SPOILER ALERT: Tyson and Amy are going to go out on their first date and then take their relationship a few steps further. I haven't decided yet if they are going to have sex. If they do have sex, I am going to make Amy regret it but I don't know if I want them to have sex just yet.

I think it would be interesting to write Amy regretting it and taking it out on Tyson but I want this couple to be happy. Most of my stories are angst and I need a couple with a little fluff and sweet romance. Do you guys want to read them having sex in the next chapter and then have Amy regret it, taking it out and pulling slightly away from Tyson? Or are you guys on the fluff train with me? Let me know! Thanks.

I can see how either idea would be great. Angst definitely keeps everyone hoping for them to resolve whatever problems and leads to a stronger relationship and greater understanding of each other, but on the other hand, I'd like them to be happy and just have some fluff. I guess my vote would be for some angst in the next chapter followed by them resolving their difficulties and finally being happy with lots of fluff. I'll leave it to your creative genius, but I think either way you'll keep your fans happy.

Both idea are great, I mean if she truly regrets it, it's gonna be sad and angst but with great reconciliation ; if she just have some doubts it could be fun to watch Tyson's reaction to her ; and if they are happy, ...well... it'll be great too lol !! ^^ so it's your choice !!!

Don't worry your stories are just perfect =D we're still here to tell you that ^^

Please, Please, Please don't let them have sex and her regret it. From the way you've written her, she seems like an incredibly intelligent young lady and probably thinks about her actions before she does them. It almost wouldn't make sense for her to sleep with Tyson and then regret it.
Anyway, I love your stories,
Margie

I agree with Margie,I think fluff would be great! I love the story I can't wait to read more.

Hey Kate,

I think fictionpress has about 80% teenage readers under the age of 18 so of course the complexity of a relationship between two adults won't interest them. I don't want to sound snobby but it's true because the most popular stories on there seem to be mostly about high school romance.

I'm definitely for fluff. I'll admit though it could be hard at times being in a relationship with a person like Tyson because he isn't a talker. This time I'll leave it up to you to decide on what to do because I trust you to keep us begging for more.

"The End of Eden" is leaving me wanting more. There are so many unanswered questions like who is Eden really and is the killer the real killer and if he is why did he kill her. Your fairy tale story idea is ingenious. I would really like to see how you're going to do that story.

By the way the last three black and white fanart from your friend Lauren are getting hotter and hotter. Thanks.

PLEASE MORE FLUFF! I love Ty/Amy and would love to see them stay fluffy-happy rather than sad-angst. And as for the idiots at FF.net... it is their loss!! You are an awesome writer with great potential, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
Keep up the great work.

I seem to be in the minority here. I am all for the fluff...

However, given what we know of these two I cannot imagine that the course of their love is going to flow all smooth.

They are VERY different people and I guess that is part of the appeal - it just seems a little too soon for them to have everything figured out and for there to be no conflict.

I would think that if Amy were to sleep with Tyson on the first date she would have some serious doubts about it - i.e. she is falling for Tyson and knows it but he has yet to truly tell her how he feels and she might wonder about that after sex, if it meant as much to him as it did her.

Just some thoughts, I am sure that however you write it will be great. Can't wait for the next update - thanks for sharing it with us!

Where have I been. I have missed so many updates. OK, so first of all I must say. Who is the idiot who did not like The Prize? I'm convinced that they are just jealous of your talent and so they wanted to pull you down. Please don't let one hater let you think less of The Prize. I Love IT. You have mad skills that no one can duplicate. I'll admit, I'm jealous I don't have a quarter of your talent.
Now regarding the next chapter. I'm really torn, and I'm not going to weigh in on them having sex or not because, I know that you can work your magic either way. I think about how if she starts to pull away how Tyson will react, and how he will draw her out of her guilt (without a lot of words) or if he use a few simple word to draw her out. BUT I love Fluff and they have already had the rough patch in the grocery store. Really I don't know so I will let you and your muse handle it. I can't wait to see what you choose.

I love your stories and your writing style; but I do think too much angst isn't good. Tyson and Amy's story could have a bit of angst, but overall fluffy and romantic would be awesome! ;)

Hey Katie, don't listen to that idiot on fictionpress.net because you know that you have something because you keep writing no matter what. That is a big deal because I always await for you stories to appear no matter how busy I get. I think that you are a wonderful author that deserves the best. Now onto the Prize. In my opinion I think that you should do something to get Tyson's feelings jump started. Now I'm all for fluff and romance and also for some good angst, but I believe that you are the one to decide because you know what is best for the story and you have your adoring fans awaiting for you no matter what you write. I'll guarnette that we (the audience) will love it. I would love to see Ryan and Tyson get into a fight and things are said that aren't meant to be said. But the decided is yours my dear and remember, only you know how this story will have the perfect ending.

From one of your Fans

Me personally I want the fluffy romantic stuff...I think it would be out of character for Tyson butttt, I think that is what would make it great...anywho thats my opinion and I love love love this story and all of your others...keep up the great work and dont worry about the negative people they just seem to make you wanna doubt what you are doin...You have a great fanbase and I think you should hold your head up and keep writting..tata12772

lol a person cannot be able to tell if a story is a stinker or not until they read the entire story. i've really bad ones and really good ones, its the development of how the story is written that counts. alot of story have similar plotlines but some are able to stand out from the others because the authors are able to work on them. Your plots are great and u write one hell of a story everytime. dont be discouraged because of a bad reveiw because every critisium is good. i love ur stories.
