TPT - Chapter Eight

Chapter eight of The Prettiest Thing is posted on AFF.net and I have to be honest that this is probably one of my favorite chapters in the entire story for some reason. Please read it and review for me. I really do love to hear what everyone thinks about this story. Thank you very much to everyone for the comments and well-wishes on my basement. Also, thank you to everyone who read and reviewed Ghetto Gospel for me over on Fictionpress.com. I love that story and I am glad others enjoy it as well. I hope everyone has an excellent weekend.

I just finished the first two chapters. They seem a little cleaner than the original. Hopefully this weekend I can take the time to read the rest. I'm interested to see what has changed and how true to the original it remains.

I love that you're re-posting this story, as I have decided now, that it IS my favourite of yours. At first I felt like I was cheating on Jamie and Violet (they're still very high on the list! lol) but there's no denying the depth of the relationships in TPT, the characters are brilliant and I can't wait for Brett and Ella to get together all over again.

Hey Kate,

Been super busy recently, so I haven't gotten around to Ghetto Gospel (which I am dying to, since it was my fave when you first posted it) nor have I read chapters 7 or 8 of TPT. When I do have longer moments, i promise I will read and review... probably won't be until sometime next week, though. Just wanted to give you a heads up!

Hey Kate!

Whew... life has been so busy lately that I haven't been around in a couple of weeks.

I've loved reading all the reposted chapters, it still feels new to me in some ways and I really enjoy rereading these chapters. They are good and very entertaining, even a second time. Isn't that the test of good writing it stands up to multiple reads well? I think you've done it, congrats!!

Okay, I'm all caught up with the repostings. If you did make changes to the original, they are very subtle. Regardless, I look forward to anything you put out there. I'm still intrigued by the one-off you talked about doing for "The Prize".
