Paul Newman

This has nothing to do with my stories but one of my all-time favorite actors, Paul Newman, has passed away today at the age of 83 after a long battle with cancer. I already am planning a marathon of some of his films of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Hud, Cool Hand Luke and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and if you have never seen a movie starring Paul Newman, I highly recommend you do so. He was an incredible actor, icon and man. RIP Paul. You will always be one of the best and always one of my favorites.

Thank you for doing this. He is such an amazing man. I'm so sad that he has passed, but in a way, it's almost a good thing. He was so sick! I will always love him and what he does. Not only is he on salad dressing, he also starting a camp for terminally ill kids called "Hole in the Wall Camp". It's amazing.

Hey Kate,

I was very sadden too to hear about his death. My brothers love him in "Cool Hand Luke". They know every line in that movie. "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" my dad and my favorite movie of his. The first movie I ever saw him in was "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" with Elizabeth Taylor. I'm sure AMC will have a Paul Newman movie Marathon. His movie is for all generations to watch. I buy things like Paul Newman's spaghetti sauce and salad dressing because some of the proceeds go to charity. Thanks Kate and have a great Saturday.

I'm so sad to hear that he's passed away :[ I've always felt he was one of the greatest icons, and he was so generous too. I'm going to try and see more of his movies now.

I heard that this morning.
I've seen him in "Message in a bottle", "Road to perdition" and tonight they pass "The color of money" on TV.
Thanks for the post.

Thanks for your tribue to a great actor. I'm a huge classic movie buff and am always so sad to see another member of that "golden era" pass away. My sister adored "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof." My favorite was "The Sting."
