I don't even know if anyone reads this blog anymore. It would seem as if I had fallen off the face of the planet considering I haven't posted or updated a story in months. Unfortunately, there are times when my real life conflicts with my writing and it keeps me from doing something I love to do so much. I know people wish I would update The Prize or The Prettiest Thing and I have actually sat down and tried to write the next chapter for both. It is a depressing thing though when one's muse seems to have left for both of those stories. I will try to finish these stories. I was so excited when I first started writing them so I hope for everyone, myself and my readers, that I will be able to continue both.
I'm not sure what has happened to me during the last few months. All inspiration seemed to have left and I was dealing with so many other things in my life at the time. Justin has been looking for a publisher for me so maybe, someday, I will be an officially published author. That would be a dream come true for me so I'm crossing my fingers and when my life decided to slow down a bit, I began working on my manuscript. I had so many ideas for my first official novel that I didn't know which one to choose.
The manuscript I am working on at the moment is The Flower Girl and it has a short summary but I wanted something that would perhaps pull people in just by sheer curiosity.
My name is Molly.
One night, someone shot me in the head.
It should have been the end of my life.
Instead, it was just the beginning.
I have a more detailed summary along with a piece of cover art my friend made for me because she was bored and also celebrity obsessed. Upon reading the first rough chapter of the first couple of chapters, she immediately cast my characters and made covers for them. I will post those as well as the longer summary later today - if anyone is interested. I will post the first chapter of The Flower Girl on both Aff.net and Fictionpress.net to get some much needed feedback from my readers. I am eager to work on this story and hopefully, send it onto a publisher. But I need help with reading and getting opinions on it so who better to ask for that help than a community of people who have been reading my stories since the beginning? It would mean the world to me. Comment if you are interested in reading this very rough draft for me and I will post it. Thank you so much!

Yes some people do still read this blog. I in fact check it every few days, not looking for a story so much as just an update to know you are dong well. I'm happy you are writing, it would be a terrible thing if you truly stopped. I hope you and your family are well.

I check your blog every now and then. Don't even need it on my favourites as I've memorized the link! : )
Good to know you're getting back to normal, and writing! That's always a plus :D
Will get down to read 'The Flower Girl' within the next few days. Partially free till the middle of this month then I'll be swamped!

Hi~ I've become a fan of yours the first time I've ever read your stories. My first was "The Prize." Ohhh, it's soooo good... haha... I read the prologue of "The Flower Girl" and I am really liking it... I want more!!
I really like visiting your blog now and then to see how you're doing, and to see how you're progressing through your stories... It's all very good...
Cheers,
Angie
