A Pocketful of Poppies - Part Nine

This chapter took longer to write than I originally planned but part nine of A Pocketful of Poppies is posted on Fictionpress. Please head over there and read it for me. Usually, when a chapter takes me so much longer than I thought it would, it does not turn out as well as I hoped so please let me know what you think of it. Thank you very much in advance and I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. Oh. I also posted “Amoreena” by Elton John below. It is one of my favorite songs and appears in this chapter so listen to it if you want. Thank you.

I am in love with this story. It is phenomenal and it only seems to get better with every chapter. I can't wait for Poppy and Justin to open up a bit. They have so much in common and I like them both so much. I need more soon please! I want to know what will happen in the future.

I love this story so much. It's amazing. The latest chapter was so beautiful and Justin and Poppy's interaction was so sweet and innocent and perfect. The picture you posted of the couple holding hands, I couldn't get it out of my head while I was reading. Can't wait for more.

Yay! I love the dynamic between these two. I can't wait for the scene when Pops learns about Justin's dad. It's going to be intense! :)

I don't know why you were so worried about the quality of this chapter. It was great and it's good that you took your time and produced something of quality, like this.

They're slowly starting to let each other in. Innocent touches and caring for the other is the beginning and it's great how you're layering it slowly but steadily. Can't wait to read more. Happy writing!

This story is better than 'Wonderwall' and I am so speechless because-because...it's just that AMAZING!!

You are doing a fabulous job!

Hey Kate,

I know I have been missing in action, and if you can take the time in your life to write story after story it seems like the very least I should be able to do is read and review, but when I say I have been too busy to read I mean, I truly have no idea how it became Jan. 28th without me noticing at all. I wasn't going to read A Poctketful of Poppies because I personaly read Wonerwall twice and even though I knew you were were rewriting it I figured it wouldn't be that different, right. . .
Well of course I was so wrong, last night in my 1st moment of down time in months I started reading A Pocketful of Poppies thinking it was a safe bet. Hey I had read Wonderwall before and I would start and stop when I got sleepy and never feel like I was missing anything right? (:-* maybe not even review) Wrong I stayed up until after 1am reading this, I was unable to stop. After my eyes got tired from the computer screen I printed out a few chapters and took them to bed with me. When those were finished I got out the laptop and took it to bed with me (I'm low on ink, couldn't print more).
You truly have a gift with words that is undeniable and I thank you for sharing your talent. I saw the artist note pleading for reviews, and the one bad review. I'm sorry the good reviews weren't just flooding in, I guess it has something to do with how real you have made the characters. It is hard sometimes to review on such heavy topics and eventhough these are just characters the storylines behind them are very real, and near and dear to some people's heart. Know that you are touching people with your stories and you do it with grace and style. Please never let anywone steal that knowledge away from you.

Have a great day!

Sorry I didn't have time to spellcheck this I hope you could understand what I was trying to say in this long ramble I call a review!

I don't know when I will have time to read again but you better belive I will be coming back here, 1st chance I get.
