The Prettiest Thing

If you are interested, I have been editing and posting The Prettiest Thing on Fictionpress. I have been combining chapters to make them much longer and changing a few things - though not too many things. Please read if you would like. At the moment, I have posted chapters up until Nick and Connie find out about Lyla and her car accident. I hope everyone has a good Monday. Thank you.

Great to reread this story !!!!

PS : I just rediscover this song by one of my favorite group, After forever, the song is named "Intrinsic", and I think it sounds great for "The flower Girl", here are some of the lyrics (of course if you don't like metal music, lol, it's not gonna be the one for you)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGPhRuNOr2Y&feature=related

At night, assimilate life
In the infinite realm
of our intrinsic side

Find, the missing parts of the mind
The hidden truth behind
Our dungeon of thoughts, this labyrinth

Search, it has a reason and a meaning
Remembered and repeated
A guide, not to be ignored

Feel, there's so much to feel
Amnesia must confiscate an elusive link
to consciousness

It's there, cause there's so much we don't know
Even our own true face
It's there, facing what we can't have

Hi Kate,
I'm so glad you're posting The Prettiest Thing again. And A Pocketful of Poppies looks really good. Justin and Poppy are a really nice couple and I can't wait to read more of their story.

I have a lot of reading to do. The Flower Girl and TPT.

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. I think it's over, I don't celebrate it.

Hi Kate,

Thanks again for posting so quickly! Seems like the sh*t will hit the fan soon since Brett and Ella FINALLY moved towards something more. This should be good...

I was listening to I'm Yours by Jason Mraz and I now think of Brett and Ella every time I hear it. So sweet.

Hi Kate,

Just read chapter nine and although this may not be your genre of music, the song Where Do We Go From Here by Alicia Keys really reminds me of the difficult situation that Ella and Brett find themselves in now.

Also, regarding Joy and Trevor, I'm glad to see that you're putting the reality if HS love possibly not making it after graduation b/c in reality, some just don't... While love IS a wonderful thing, I hope Joy and Trevor don't give up their ambitions and goals. Yes goals DO change when you meet the right person so we'll see where they take it from here.

Can't wait for more! Have a GREAT weekend.
