I should just go with my first instincts. Below is a picture of Joe from Raven's Ridge who I had in mind when I first started writing his character but I decided to go with another actor because I guess I wanted someone more familiar. This Joe is the true Joe though. Thank you to everyone who read and reviewed the first chapter for me. I suppose I was influenced by One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - one of my favorite movies - since it is also mentioned in the next chapter of Nothing Else Matters featuring Holden and Sarah. I hope to have Part II of Raven's Ridge up soon as well as the Holden and Sarah chapter.

The New Kyle... and Millie

Someone gave me a great idea while I was reading through my reviews of The Nicest Thing and I have decided to switch pictures for Kyle Colfax. I have posted a picture of Corey as well so you can picture the new couple if you want to when you are reading. Of course, you can picture the characters however you want. These pictures are just for people who enjoy the visual aids. Also, below is a picture of five-year-old Millie Scott, who will make her debut in the next chapter - which I am working on right now. I think this actress would be a perfect Millie and I think she looks like a perfect blend of both of her parents. How do you like these pictures? I have noticed a drop in people reading my blog and I just want to make sure that I keep you guys interested and coming back for more. Also, please read the third chapter of A Slow Burn for me. I love every character I have ever created for my stories but for some reason, I really love the female characters of The Prettiest Thing: Ella, Lyla, Joy, Connie, Corey... all of them. They are all so different with their different personalities and writing them really does make me happy. I found this beautiful picture of Lyla and I wanted to post it and also, I wanted to post Lyla's song, which I listen to whenever I write one of her scenes. It is "The Shadowlands" by Ryan Adams. I am working on chapter thirty-two for The Prettiest Thing right now so hopefully, it will be done sometime soon. This weekend is kind of crazy for me but I am going to try my hardest. Thank you!

The Prettiest Thing - Chapter Twenty-Four

Sorry it took me so long to post chapter twenty-four of The Prettiest Thing but it is finally up for you all to read and review on AFF.net. It became longer than I initially planned so Joy's dance showcase is moved to the next chapter as well as some progress in the Brett/Ella relationship. I hope everyone likes the new chapter. Please let me know what you all think of it. I found an old picture on my computer and realized that it was the same model I used for Trevor. I just wish I knew his name! Read, review and also, Christmas is in the next chapter as well and I am very excited to write the next installment. I can't believe we're already on chapter twenty-four and still, a lot of story must be told. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

I love how involved people are getting with this story and how they argue and debate and get frustrated with things the characters do. I am almost finished with chapter twenty-two of The Prettiest Thing but I don't think it will be complete and ready to post until tomorrow but I will let you all know when I have posted it on AFF.net. Chapter twenty-two really focuses on the three Scott children: Lyla, Trevor and Ella. I want to thank Hollie very much for the pictures below that she found and which reminded her of Trevor and Joy and I also want to thank her for all of the kind words she said about Trevor and Joy. I have so much more fanart to post and I can't wait to do so.

The four main characters: Ella, Brett, Trevor and Joy are very near and dear to my heart and most everything that has happened in this story so far has happened to either me or someone in my life. I know Ella, Brett, Trevor and Joy. I know a Lyla and a Monty and Corey. I know all of these characters and I am trying to write them in a way where you know them too. I am trying to have them talk realistically and act in such a way where readers can see themselves in those characters. I love this story and I am glad so many other people are enjoying and loving it as well.

My Thoughts

I hate writing these kinds of posts but I have to say how I feel. I was so proud of myself for chapter twenty-one. I thought it was one of the best written chapters of any of my stories on AFF.net. I was so excited to post it and have everyone read it. But this chapter, as well as the past couple, have been less than popular with readers. I have had literally hundreds and hundreds of hits for chapter twenty-one and ten reviews. To go from twenty-five to thirty reviews to ten, that is a big drop and I don't know why I am not getting people hitting that review button at the end of the chapter. I know I have a lot of reviews for The Prettiest Thing but those were from the beginning chapters. Now, it seems as if people could care less about this story. They'll read it but they won't let me know what they love or hate about it. It actually hurts my feelings a bit. I put so much effort and time into this story. I was worried that making this story as long as I planned would cause people to lose interest because my writing would falter. If it is, all I ask is that you tell me. If the story sucks, tell me. If it is good, tell me. Please. I am sorry if this story is not going in the way you wanted it to go but this is about high school and in high school, things like this are dealt with on a daily basis. To everyone who has reviewed, thank you a million times.

This chapter is heavy with Ella and Trevor. Ella is finally breaking free of her old self and eager to try new things and Trevor is dealing with his and Joy's issue. This is not a pro-choice or pro-life story. This is not a pro-religion or anti-religion story. This is a story about the decisions we are faced with when we reach that stage between high school and admitting to ourselves that we're becoming adults. It is a story about how sometimes, we make plans and things don't always go as planned. Please read and review. I love this chapter. I really do. This is completely random of me but I found this picture of Kristen Bell, who was my influence for Lindsey Holland from Blood and Honey, and I thought it was absolutely perfect. Lindsey, along with her best friend, Ryan Reed, were heavy pot smokers in the story and this picture I thought just screamed Lindsey so I wanted to post it for you to see. In other news, slight changes were made to chapter nineteen of The Prettiest Thing from my original outline but not too many significant changes. I hope to have the chapter posted by either today or tomorrow. I will let you know when I post it. In the meantime, I hope you like the picture.

Hi everyone. Some have asked and the name of the model who portrays Ella is Sabrina Pauletto. I have only been able to find two pictures of her and these pictures are absolutely perfect. This model is exactly how I pictured Ella when I began writing The Prettiest Thing. If you find any pictures of her, I would be so grateful. Thank you to everyone who is looking for me.

Possible Pictures

I was unable to sleep last night so I was surfing the internet trying to find pictures for The Prettiest Thing. Since the pictures which initially inspired me for Ella, Brett and Trevor are of models, it was hard to find their names. Thanks to some fans and their hard work, Ella and Brett's names were found out but Trevor still remains nameless. But even with Ella and Brett's names now known, finding pictures of them, at least for me, is still difficult. I was able to find a picture of Brett but I could only find pictures that LOOK like Trevor and Ella but aren't. I wanted to post the pictures anyway though because I'm tired and I like having the pictures up. I do wish though that the picture I have of Ella had a model with more tanned skin since Ella's skin is tan but oh well. Remember that if you are ever online and see a picture that reminds you of The Prettiest Thing, please send it my way. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance!
