It is a clip from one of my all-time favorite television shows The Wire and the scene was direct inspiration for the scenes between Preston and Detective Cox in my story. The Waverly Myth - Chapter One

Once again, I am trying something completely different with this newest story of mine. I know some are pissed off but I took The Beginning of Eden down for editing purposes because I was not completely satisfied with it. I will be posting it again later though when I am happy with it.

In the meantime, this is my newest project. A family epic with plenty of drama and romance. I wrote this story for my mother three years ago and gave it to her as a present – my first completed novel – but since then, my writing has definitely grown stronger and I wanted to rework it. The first chapter of The Waverly Myth is up on Fictionpress.com ready to be read and reviewed. I love this story and I hope a few of you will like it as well. I am excited to be writing this one again.

The Beginning of Eden

Ugh. I just sat down and read through the first two chapters of The Beginning of Eden and this story is not coming out the way I wanted it to. It reminds me of my first few attempts at Ghetto Gospel - which I all hated before I was able to write the final version. I really hate the version of The Beginning of Eden I have posted so I am going to delete it, work on it and then post it again. If I am not 100% happy with the writing, I think that is shows and everyone can tell. To those who have not read it, do not worry. I will come back to this story once I am happy with it. I really want to get this story right before I post it again. Thank you everyone and Happy Thursday. It is 6:25 in the morning and I am far too happy right now. lol Talk to you soon.

I have been working on a new story outline for almost three months but I haven’t wanted to talk about it because I didn’t know if I was going to pursue it. Ghetto Gospel - Chapter Six

I know this story isn’t for everyone but I deeply appreciate the response I have been getting for it so far. I am feeling immense inspiration for both this story and The Flower Girl so thank you to everyone who is reading and interesting in these two.

Someone asked me about a follow-up to Seven Minutes in Heaven and while I did write another sequel, I thought it was complete crap and I deleted it. At the moment, I have no ideas for a continuation of Devon and Grace’s and at the moment, I don’t even know if I will ever write a continuation. I have to feel inspired and I have to want to write it. At the moment, I am feeling neither. I am sorry for those who are disappointed by this.

In addition to reading and reviewing Ghetto Gospel, I also have another favor to ask. Loyal reader and friend 7 Years has been kicking ass pulling music for me for The Flower Girl ­– which will all be loaded on my profile on Fictionpress in due time – but I am having a hell of a time finding a song for Preston and Jane for Ghetto Gospel. Does anyone have any suggestions? “Ghetto Gospel” by Tupac is the story’s theme song but I would like if Preston and Jane had their own theme as well.
