Chase and Nikki

It occurred to me that I never posted a picture of Chase Merra when I was posting pictures of all of the friends from the Wonderwall series. I had already posted a picture of Nikki Hawkins but honestly, I never liked that picture I used. Now, I am not the biggest fan of hers but every time I write Nikki, I always seem to picture Lindsay Lohan in my mind - she has that wild child bitchy vibe to her that is absolutely Nikki's personality. I am satisfied with these pictures that I have chosen to portray the couple. Please enjoy.

Book Cover

My friend, Lauren - the one who does most of my fanart, made this for me as sort of a banner for The Prize and I wanted to post it for everyone's enjoyment. Enjoy!

Gorgeous

So, I don't know if it's just me, but I adore the way Tyson and Amy look together. I think they are gorgeous and I am glad that I chose the particular actors that I did to represent them. I found more pictures of the two and I just wanted to post them because I like to look at them. I am working on the next chapters of both The Prize and Wonderwall and I will notify you all when I finish those and post them on Aff.net. Enjoy the pictures!

Wonderwall Fanart

I don't know if anyone enjoys the fanart I post on this blog but my friend Lauren has made some for Wonderwall and I wanted to put them up for everyone to see. She found random pictures on the internet that reminded her of the story and I think they are all beautiful so I hope everyone likes them. [all of these photographs belong to their respected owners].

Wonderwall: Chapter Two

I just uploaded the second chapter of Wonderwall on FictionPress.com and I hope to have it posted on AFF.net soon enough. Please read the story for me and leave a review. Not that many people seem to be reading it and I hope it's not because the story isn't of quality. Please let me know and give me some feedback. This story is definitely more in-depth and detailed than the original and I hope everyone enjoys it.

Preston and Kristen

In my rewrite of Wonderwall, there have been many changes. One change has been giving Justin's best friend, Preston, more depth and characterization. Also, I have added a new character, Kristen Fisher, Poppy's best friend. I am unsure still whether or not I will have the character of Nikki Hawkins in this version. Below are pictures of Preston and Kristen. Please read Wonderwall either on Fictionpress.com or AFF.net and let me know what you think. This rewrite is going to be a novel. It is going to be far more in-depth and detailed and it will move slower than the original. Let me a comment or a review. Thank you.

Wonderwall: Chapter One

I have just posted the first chapter of my Wonderwall rewrite on Fictionpress.com and hope to have it posted on AFF.net by this evening as well. As most know, this was my first story written and posted so it has a special place in my heart. Please read and review it for me. A lot, A LOT, has changed from the original so let me know what you all think so far. Thank you and to those who still read this blog (I'm not sure if too many actually still read this) but thank you to you too.

Wonderwall Rewrite

I am officially working on a rewrite of my first story ever Wonderwall and am planning to post it on Fictionpress.com this time instead of on AFF.net. I will let everyone know when I am finished with the first chapter. I am excited about this. I have read all of my stories over and I am probably most unsatisfied with Wonderwall just because it was my first story and I was definitely honing my skills while I wrote that. I want to make it better. Justin and Poppy are my favorite couple that I created and I want to do them justice by writing the story that they deserve. I finally, FINALLY, found the perfect picture of Justin. This is just how I imagined him and described him in the story - black unruly shaggy hair, curly when wet, blue eyes, and pale skin. And of course, the model/actress used for Poppy is the spitting image of her that I had in my head while writing her character.

Sneak Peak

Here is a sneak peak to my newest story In a Red Dress and Alone, the follow-up story for Reed Simms and Cami Hall. Read and let me know what you think so far. Thanks!
.~.

“I should have kept your baby crib,” Rose Hall sighed, pressing her hand to her forehead as she looked around the small bedroom. “I wasn’t expecting to ever need it again but now…”

“Mom, it’s okay. I promise,” Cami Hall tried to reassure her mother as she shifted her fourteen-month-old daughter, Rory, on her hip as she also looked around the small bedroom that had once been the bedroom she had grown up in. “She’ll just sleep on the bed with me and I’ll surround her with pillows. She’ll be just fine.”

Rose nodded her head but she still looked a bit uneasy about a baby sleeping in such conditions. Cami’s cell phone began to ring and holding Rory with one arm, Cami reached into her messenger bag slung onto her shoulder. Looking down at the caller i.d. on the phone however, Cami promptly dropped it back into her bag. She had just driven five hours to get away from him. She didn’t want to pick up his calls just yet.

“Is it him?” Rose asked though the answer was fairly obvious.

Cami nodded her head then turning her back to her mother, she looked out the window, which only offered a view of the apartment building next door. She rested a cheek on Rory’s head and sighed softly, closing her eyes. At least he had called. She honestly hadn’t been expecting him to. She was surprised that he already noticed she had left. It wasn’t as if Cami had fallen out of love with Reed Simms, her boyfriend of the past three years. If possible, she loved him more now than she did when they first started dating. But she knew that something like this would happen. It had been building up for three years and she shouldn’t have been surprised.

“Cami, I know it isn’t any of my business but…” Rose sighed. “You should at least let him know that his daughter is alright.”

The phone beeped, signaling that there was a voice message and Cami sighed softly. She wanted to listen to it. She wanted to know what he had to say. She just didn’t know if she should. The instant she heard his voice, she knew her resolve would begin to break and this was one instance in her life when she had to remain strong. She couldn’t go back to him – not this time. They loved each other. Cami wasn’t questioning Reed’s feelings for her. She knew he loved her but they had reached a point in their relationship when that wasn’t enough. There was so much more she wanted than love and that was what seemed to be destroying their relationship.

She wanted things that Reed expressed no desire in having. It didn’t matter that they shared a fourteen-month old daughter together. Reed and Cami were growing apart. They were becoming two very different people and Cami didn’t know if they were two people bound to be together. She didn’t know much of anything at the moment but she did know that Reed was just as lost as she was. Perhaps spending some time apart would help them both think some things out and come to some decisions that they desperately needed to make.

Possible Story Transfers

I have had several readers tell me that AFF.net has been acting up lately and honestly, the site has been getting on my nerves as well. But it is a site that has been good to me. No site on the web can compare to it. Nonetheless, I am thinking about transferring my stories to another site - perhaps Fictionpress.com although on that site, there are so many stories (most of them crap) and it's hard to find one you're looking for. My stories always seem to get lost amongst the masses but if enough people want me to, I can start posting my stories on that website as well. Just let me know. I might work on re-editing Wonderwall and posting it on Fictionpress.com and seeing how it goes from there.

In a Red Dress and Alone

So I have been working on my short story following Reed Simms and Cami Hall and will be titled In a Red Dress and Alone. The title is taken from an Evans Blue song and the title will make sense once the story is written, posted and read. I have posted pictures of the main characters of the story. Instead of Reed's family this time around, though his sisters do appear, in this story we will meet Cami's mother, Rose, and also, I said that Reed and Cami's daughter is two years old but I have lowered the age of Rory to about fourteen months. [Before anyone asks, the baby picture used is a celebrity baby but I thought she was the perfect mixture of Reed and Cami.] I am not sure when the story will be posted but I am working on it as we speak. I hope people are still interested in reading it. Thank you!

Ben and Olivia

It is no secret that More than Anyone featuring Ben Norfolk and Olivia Grange is a favorite among my readers and I must admit, that is one of the top stories I'm most proud of. Someone emailed me requesting that I post a couple more pictures of the couple and honestly, the actors I had chosen to help me visualize the characters are hard to find pictures of. The actor I have for Ben Norfolk is Nathan Phillips. I chose him because he has the buzzed hair, the general scruffy look, and the greenish-bluest eyes I pictured for Ben to have. Jamie Lynn Sigler, who is Olivia, is one of the prettiest actresses in Hollywood in my opinion and I think that she is exactly how I pictured Olivia in my head - dark looks, gorgeous yet modest, and graceful. Below, the picture of Ben shows his blue eyes, almost in an eerie way, and I love the photo of Olivia, showing almost her shyness perfectly. Enjoy!
